This Privacy Policy describes how the Match Time Pro application collects, uses, and protects user information. By using the app, you agree to the terms described in this document.

We take privacy seriously. Match Time Pro was designed to operate with the minimum amount of personal data possible, with most features available without any registration.

2.3 Data stored locally on the device

This data stays exclusively on the device and is never transmitted externally.

✅ The app does NOT collect: geographic location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, health data, financial data, external browsing history, or any sensitive data.

3. How We Use the Data

Authentication: account data is used exclusively to identify the logged-in user.
Push notifications: the FCM token is used to deliver match start, goals, cards, and end-of-game alerts.
Advertising: AdMob uses the advertising identifier to display relevant ads. It can be disabled in Android settings.
Analytics: aggregated and anonymized data to identify failures and improve the app.
Local data: favorite teams, search history, and preferences remain on the device to personalize the experience.

⚠️ Match Time Pro does not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for their own commercial purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

The app integrates third-party services with their own privacy policies.

Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Messaging, Analytics)

Google AdMob

May collect the advertising identifier to display personalized ads.

To disable: Android Settings → Google → Ads → Disable ad personalization.

API-Football (API Sports)

Provides match data. Requests pass through our intermediary server, which only sends query parameters (team, league, season IDs). No personal user data is transmitted.

Provides football news. Requests pass through our intermediary server, which only sends search terms. No personal user data is transmitted.

Intermediary server (backend)

Match Time Pro uses its own server that caches sports data, avoiding redundant calls to external APIs. The server stores only the FCM token (for sending notifications) and public match data. It does not store personally identifiable information.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Firebase account: kept while active. Users may delete the account in Settings → Account → Delete account.
FCM token: periodically renewed by the system, with no link to identifiable data. Invalid tokens are automatically removed from the server.
Local data: erased upon app uninstallation.
AdMob and Analytics: managed by Google according to their retention policies.

6. User Rights (GDPR / LGPD)

In compliance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD - Law No. 13,709/2018) and equivalent international regulations such as GDPR, you have the right to:

Access: know which data we have about you.
Correction: correct incomplete or inaccurate data.
Deletion: request deletion of your personal data.
Withdraw consent: revoke consent at any time.
Portability: request your data in machine-readable format.
Information about sharing: know which entities your data has been shared with.

7. Children's Use

Match Time Pro is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from minors. If we identify such a situation, the data will be removed immediately.

8. Data Security

Communication with external APIs via HTTPS/TLS.
Authentication managed by Firebase Authentication.
Local data stored in the app's private storage.
No passwords are stored by the developer.

9. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notification or e-mail. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
